We hold your date the moment your deposit is received and turn away other inquiries for that window. The terms below protect both your reservation and the artisans, staff, and partners we commit on your behalf.
A 30% non-refundable booking deposit secures your event date. It covers reserved staffing, vendor commitments, and administrative planning. The deposit is never refunded, and it always counts toward — never on top of — the amount forfeited in the tiers below.
Cancel more than 30 days before your event date and you forfeit only the 30% booking deposit. Every payment made beyond the deposit is refunded within 14 business days.
Cancellations made 11 to 30 days before your event date forfeit 50% of the total contract amount. The 30% deposit you already paid is credited toward that 50%, so you owe the difference and anything paid above 50% is refunded within 14 business days. Final payment is due no later than 14 days before the event.
Cancellations made 10 days or fewer before your event date forfeit 100% of the total contract amount, with the deposit and all prior payments applied toward it. By this point staff, vendors, rentals, and product orders are fully committed and cannot be recovered. This applies to every cancellation EXCEPT those caused by extreme weather (see below).
If your event cannot safely proceed due to a verifiable extreme weather event (National Weather Service warnings, state of emergency declarations, evacuation orders, hurricanes, blizzards, tornadoes, or similar), the 50% and 100% forfeitures are waived. We will work with you in good faith to reschedule to a mutually available date within 12 months at no additional booking fee. The original deposit and any payments transfer to the new date.
Date changes outside the extreme weather clause are subject to availability and must be requested at least 30 days before the original event date. One complimentary reschedule is permitted per booking; subsequent changes may incur a re-coordination fee.
In the extraordinarily rare event we must cancel your booking, you will receive a 100% refund of all monies paid, including the booking deposit. We will also assist in sourcing a replacement vendor where possible.
